Our purpose is to improve people’s lives and, most importantly, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and protecting the personal data of our Clients and Users. Therefore, the aim of this Notice is to demonstrate how we are handling the rules for protecting your Data and explain how your information is collected and used.

We are fully aligned with the rules set forth in the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), which follows international privacy and data protection guidelines similar to the GDPR (European Legislation) and the CCPA (California Legislation).

What are Personal Data?

They are data capable of identifying or making an individual identifiable, such as name, ID number, address, cookies, or information related to a person, such as their location, cultural preferences, tastes, and interests.

What does the General Data Protection Law say?

The LGPD establishes rules regarding the use of Personal Data with the goal of protecting the fundamental rights to freedom, privacy, and the free development of the personality of natural persons. 
 

How does Prosperi handle data according to the LGPD?

Prosperi handles Data through the collection of information from individuals who interact with the company and those who register to receive information about the products offered by the company. Therefore, the processing includes collection, use, processing, storage, modification, communication, transfer, or deletion of data. We may also collect your data through sharing with companies that assist us with the recruitment process. In this case, you should refer to the Privacy Notice of the recruitment company. 

Who are the data controllers?

The LGPD defines the roles of the Controller and the Processor of Personal Data as data processing agents. The Controller is the one who makes decisions regarding the processing of personal data, while the Processor is the one who processes personal data on behalf of the Controller. Prosperi may assume the role of either the Controller or the Processor, depending on the relationship with the Data Subject. 

What are the purposes of data processing?

Your data is requested to provide you with a communication channel with Prosperi, allowing you to learn about and make the best use of all our products.

Does Prosperi share the Personal Data processed?

We partner with some companies to offer our services. Therefore, we may share Personal Data with these partners, while ensuring the utmost privacy and security of your data. 

Does Prosperi carry out international data transfers?

When using our products, your data will be stored on our servers, which have databases located in the USA through a Microsoft provider service.

The Microsoft provider implements technical measures that ensure the level of protection required by the LGPD, so your personal data will be secure with us.

How is Prosperi handling the LGPD?

Prosperi takes data privacy and security very seriously in its operations, constantly working towards compliance with regulatory obligations required by both Brazilian and international standards. To comply with data protection laws, we have adopted several measures, such as:

– Mapping data flows and identifying potential risks to privacy and the protection of personal data, aiming to align processes with best practices and regulatory requirements.

– Adjusting the Privacy Policy to comply with legal provisions.

– Reviewing the Terms of Use and Service Contracts to align with the main industry obligations.

– Reviewing and adjusting our systems to incorporate features that provide greater transparency in our relationship with data subjects.

– Establishing an internal data protection committee.
